Roses are loved by many, because these wonderful flowers not only look very beautiful, but also have a unique pleasant aroma. Their petals can even be used for food. Growing roses can seem like a difficult task. But you do not need to be an experienced gardener to achieve excellent results. It is enough to know this simple secret!
You will only need an ordinary bouquet of roses from the store and a few potatoes. With this simple trick you can easily grow in your yard a whole garden of roses!
First, choose a place that is partially in the shade, and dig out a bed about 15-30 cm deep. Sprinkle the bottom of the hollow with a layer of sand that will hold the moisture.
Then take a few roses – from the garden or from a bouquet.
Prepare them by removing the leaves and thorns on the lower third of the stem.
Now it’s time for an unusual trick!
Take a few potatoes and make holes in them, and then insert each stem into a separate potato.
In the process of growth, the potato will serve for cropped stems and as a feeding, and as a source of moisture. Put each potato in the prepared bed, observing the spacing between them about 15 cm.
Fill the groove with fresh earth until about 10 cm of stalk is left on the surface. Well, ground the earth around the stems.
In a couple of weeks, you will grow beautiful and healthy roses!
