This Guy Cut Of His Nose Because Always Wanted To Look Like A Marvel Villain!
Cutting off your nose may sound CRAZY for most people, especially if the goal is to look like a supervillain but this is the case with Henry Damon, who always dreamed to look like one of the most notorious villains in Marvel comics.
While it may sound strange that someone will go through nose amputation just to make himself look like his idol, Henry is not the first one. Many people before him chose to go under the knife to look like their idols. They will be willing to suffer great pain just to look like idols such as Justin Beiber, Michael Jackson, Elvis and ... now it seems that enters the list... Red Skull, the arch nemesis of Captain America.
How far would you go to follow your dream? Because this guy is now living without a nose for that reason.
Here is his story and the pictures he took during his transformation into a supervillain!
Warning, viewer discretion is advised due to strong images.
Henry Damon had a fantasy for many years, and as a 37-year-old adult, he understood nothing can stop him from taking some extraordinary measures to make his dream into a reality.
We all have our dreams and wish to make them into a reality. Henry always wanted to look like a Marvel character, more specifically, a supervillain.
He's not the first one out there that went under the knife just to look like a comic book character. But the example we bring, is of someone trying to look like the hero, not the villain.
Herbert Chavez of the Philippines had 23 medical procedures to change himself into Superman. He is now known as Filipino Superman
He could have chosen to look like Captain America, but nope, not Henry.
He decided to become Captain America's nemesis.
Cap's worst enemy is, of course, Red Skull. You may recall seeing him in Captain America: The First Avenger, portrayed by by Hugo Weaving.
All in all, how could that be working out for him? Set yourself up for something you've never observed...
Things are about to get freaky.
Joining the extraordinary body modification community, Henry began his change with a progression of sub-dermal inserts to give his face and head a Red Skull frame.
His specialist, Emilio Gonzalez, checked both physical and mental health before consenting to help Henry with his change.
In the wake of getting his implants, Henry, a newly wedded father, had his eyeballs inked in black color.
"He's a magnificent child, spouse, and father, who has an outrageous taste for body modification," is how his family describes Henrey.
Keep in mind, wanting to look like a villain does not mean he is one, and under a scary face usually, you can find a warm heart underneath.
Be that as it may, the most outrageous body modification came when Henry chose to cut off a segment of his nose in a surgery.
As indicated by his close friends, Henry has wished to look like this for many years, and this is what will bring him happiness.
"He has loved comic books since he was a kid and always dreamed of being Red Skull, but never got round to doing it," said his best friend Pablo Hernandez on an interview.
The thing is... This is not the final modification. Henrey was far from reaching his goal lacking the red peeled-like skin of Red Skull.
He added red tattoos to his face, now Henry is as close as it can be it to his fantasy of resembling the threatening Red Skull.
Next step will be silicone implants on the cheekbones, chin, and cheeks and then with the face tattoos, Henry will add a full red face tattoo to finish up his work.
"At that point we will tattoo his whole face red and afterward he will be Red Skull."
Here is the interview of Henry explaining why did these changes and how it feels living looking like a super-villain:
Many people who saw his transformation thought that this is beyond extreme. This is not a modification that can be reversed, he will forever look like this.
Others argued that his black eye tattoos are too dangerous as it could have made him blind in both eyes.
The difference between how scary his appearance is and how nice he is in real life is quite mind blowing.
His close friends admitted that it was hard for them to form a relationship with someone who looks like a supervillain/demon, but they soon understood that Damon was looking at his change as a form of artistic expression rather than a desire to scare people.
Henry Damon sometimes joke around making scary faces to the camera. We can't say it's not working for him.
The removal of the nose has caused damage for the tissue, luckily the wound did not get infected.
Some dermatology specialist claimed that the risk with removing the tip of the nose is cutting the blood supply of the rest of the nose due to infections, but Henry was lucky enough to have no complication with his surgery.
Getting a tattoo on his forehead was one of the last changes he did.
Now 70% of his face is covered with tattoos.
So what does the future holds for Henry? There are still modifications remaining for this artist.
Not even Henry knows when his transformation journey will end, with many people fear that one of these surgeries will end up killing him.
He is a loving husband and father, so his health risks must be calculated everytime, "I will never do anything that will risk my life. I love my wife and kids and will never do any modefication that will harm my health. At the end of the day, my family comes first." said Henry.
So... does he look like a supervillain? What do you think?
